The Basics

A merchant cash advance is very simple.  Here's what happens: 

Express Working Capital purchases a portion of your future credit card sales at a discount. We then collect a percentage of your future daily Visa/MasterCard/Discover sales directly from your credit card processor until paid in full. Repayment is automatic. You never have to worry about writing checks, making timely payments, or paying late fees. That's it. And, once you have paid down your advance to approximately 25% of its original balance, you can renew your advance to get additional capital. Renewal is easy and fast.  In most cases, funds will deposited into your account the next business day.

What You Have to Do

Here’s all you have to do in order to receive the funding you deserve, in as little as 7 business days:

1. Submit your application online for pre-qualification.  
2. Once you are pre-qualified, we’ll ask you to submit a few other documents for final approval. 
3. After final approval, a Funding Coordinator will contact you to learn more about your needs and discuss the specifics of our proposal.  EWC will then deliver a contract for your review.   
4. Simply sign and return our agreement and, within a few days, funds will be deposited automatically into your business bank account.
5. Once you receive your cash, Express Working Capital will begin collecting a small, agreed-upon percentage of your daily Visa/MasterCard/Discover sales until our agreement is fully executed. The credit card processor will transfer funds automatically and electronically, there’s no additional work on your part. 

 
Qualifications for Funding

To qualify, you must:

1. Run a traditional retail/service/restaurant business with at least one year remaining on your lease.
   
2. Have a fixed business location.
   
3. Be in business for more than one year (there are exceptions).
   
4. Must have a minimum monthly credit card volume of $10,000 (there are exceptions).
   
5. Must not be behind in rent or mortgage payments.
   
6. Have no current, open bankruptcy proceedings.
